Say "Hi". Now. Do it now.

Post by DM on Tue Oct 20, 2015 9:20 pm

So, a lot of us know each other, but a lot of us don't. I figured we might as well close those gaps and build bridges and shit.

My name's James and I'll be your DM. British, so remember words have "u"s and "s"s. Work as a Computer Science teacher teaching 11-18 year olds (which is the bulk of the reason I'm not on here more often during the week). Been roleplaying for about 18 years, I think, first game I joined was with Andrew. I used to work as a statistician and still have a tendency to overanalyse data - expect many interesting graphs to be generated from data from this game.

Nice to meet you James, will be fun to see what you make of the DnD setting in PbP!

My name is Keri, I recently moved to the UK from Sweden and work as a non-emergency medical calltaker for the NHS (yes, I sometimes get to dispatch ambulances). I guess the first time I rollplayed was 20 years ago now, but can't really claim I was roleplaying until a few years back when I discovered PbP and got to play with a bit more focus back at home.

Nice to meet you all.

I'm Ross. I'm from the UK and I work as a games tester, PR person and community manager at a video game publisher, Ghostlight.

I've not had an RPG that's gone past the 1st session for the last 10 years or so, but I used to play quite a bit at Uni, often with James.

Well Hello!

I'm Brynolv, Keri's older-younger brother(from Sweden), in 9th grade trying to learn something. Currently an agreement about when I'm allowed to use the computer have me doing lots of things after-school, usually this include rolling dice claiming to have done something with the DM/GM/Storryteller saying yes/no/maybe, unless I'm said omnipotent being.
I like to ask questions, mostly Why and How.

I guess I'm up. I'm Andrew, a Canadian living in the UK, and I have known James for quite some time now and have known Keri a little while too. I am a professional historian, writer of stuff, and spend my days reading and writing more stuff - mostly related to the Tudors or various aspects of the European Reformation. I've been role-playing in one form or another since the 1970s.

Alright the now I can introduce my self and make my very first post on the forum..

My name is Zakharias (I'm use to people spelling is incorrectly (James))
I am Keri's brother other than Brynolv. Like Brynolv I to live in currently cold Sweden. I've been rolleplaying for almost half of my life. That life being 14 years. I role-play at least once a week with a few friend plus Brynolv. I also thoroughly enjoy LARPing and do that from time to time.

The way the DM spells things is the correct way to spell them. Any difference in the way you spell it makes you incorrect, not me.

Hi All.

I'm Paul. Played with James (DM) and Andrew (Wilmslow Rojan) for very many years and been roleplaying for over 20 years.

Home is the UK, Sheffield more specifically, though I travel around the country a fair amount for my IT-based work. That also restricts my posting availability. I'll tend to post in fits and starts as I have a window of time to contribute!

Good to "meet" you all!
